IN CHARACTER

Character Name: Cable, aka Nathan Summers
Canon: X-Men Cinematic Universe
Canon Point: right after the end of Deadpool 2

In-Game Tattoo Placement: right shoulder blade
Current Health/Status: Cable has a techno-organic virus currently held inactive by his telekinetic ablities. If he weren't keeping it in check, it would overrun his body and kill him. (This is from comics canon. If it's a problem to use, I can remove it.)
Age: It's complicated, though he looks to be in his late forties to early fifties.
Species: homo sapiens superior (mutant human)

History: here!

CRAU History and Impact: This is his first game.
Personality: Cable is a soldier, first and foremost. He's a very focused individual, keeping steady to complete his mission. Even when he's come home and found his wife and daughter dead, he's in control. There's no screaming or crying; he's fully in control. He has a new mission, stripping himself of his former by removing his uniform and dialing up the past on his time traveling device. He knows what he has to do, and he's focused on the mission and only that. He finds two people in his way? He kills them without a second thought. He needs gear to do the job? He breaks into an Army/Navy store and takes what he needs. The ends justify the means, no matter what the cost. And this cost? He's willing to kill Russell, a child, taking a big bite out of his soul in the process.

Cable is more than a soldier, of course. He has a heart, remembering his daughter and wife fondly. He imagines himself not being there for them when they're killed, and this drives him to continue his search for Russell. He can be vulnerable, as when he walked into Blind Al's apartment to meet four pistols aimed at him. He's still in control of his own emotions, not flinching when faced with death. He's even willing to bend, accepting Deadpool's offer for 30 seconds to convince Russell not to burn down the orphanage and kill the headmaster.

He does have a heart, knowing how to connect with Deadpool who had just lost his own soulmate. He's focused on doing the right thing. Aside from Russell, he wants to save the rest of the children in the orphanage. He wants to protect Deadpool, even though he'd beat the living snot out of him before, in the prison and in the convoy. They're on the same team. Cable considers Deadpool one of 'his people', even if it may only be for the duration of their team-up. In the end, he sacrifices his last time jump, where he'd be able to rejoin his family, to save Deadpool from death.

Cable is intelligent, able to re-engineer his rifle from the future from other guns in the present. He uses his bionics/techno-organic mesh to create a schematic of what he needs. The information is garnered from a lifetime of experience fighting in wars, learning about everything at his disposal. He has a sense of humor that's sometimes hard to detect. In the taxi with Deadpool, they trade a few insults, which makes Cable smile, though if it's predatory or simply humor, it's not clear. He fills the role of protector, as well. His whole arc in the movie is about making sure his wife and daughter do not die, and he's willing to do anything to keep them safe. At the end, he saves Deadpool instead of going back to his own time to be with his wife and daughter.

He fears losing control, most specifically of his techno-organic virus. It would kill him if he were to let it run free, though he's not contageous. Though his wife and daughter were saved, and he knows they live in the future, he will always be haunted by the sight of their charred remains, of the feeling he should have been there for them.

Abilities/Powers/Weaknesses & Warping: Cable is an athelete level human. His cyber arm is at superhuman level. He is very skilled with nearly all weaponry, present and future. He has the power of telekinesis, which is the ability to manipulate matter with his mind. His biggest weakness is his techno-organic virus, as he must keep it in check or face death. His telekinetic ability can be warped so that his tk virus is a danger, or his tk becomes more powerful. More detailed descriptions of his abilities and powers are here.

Other Characters In Game: n/a
In-Game Tag If Accepted: Cable: Vorko
Permissions for Character: here
Are you comfortable with prominent elements of fourth-walling?: Yes.
What themes of horror/psychological thrillers do you enjoy the most?: The twisted, the unknown, some body horror, pain, insanity.
Is there anything in particular you absolutely need specific content warnings for?: Not that I know of.
Additional Information: I have pulled the techno-organic virus from the comics. I believe this will be part of the movies to come, because he is telekinetic (he's able to pull his gun toward him several times in the movie), and because of the organic way his bionics appear on his chest, back, and neck.
